Stayed 4 nights. Dec 9-13. Peaceful and great hospitality especially looked after by Tuan. Excellent food. Will definitely come again.

Had a 2 night stay here recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. Came for several reasons. Firstly to enjoy the local beaches near Camusdarach, secondly to ride the West Highland Line and thirdly to sample this hotel which we gad previously just had coffees at. The room was lovely with a sea view. The food each evening was delightful yet simple. The curry was exceptional and authentic. Breakfast was hearty and tasty too. The bar is good, as is the comfortable lounge area. There is ample car parking and it is 50 yards from the railway station platform. A real lovely stay all round. Thank you to all the staff.

I had a wonderful stay at the Morar Hotel. Thank you to all the lovely polite and kind staff, you are doing a great job! I was visiting for a solo winter getaway but will return with my husband in the spring. The hotel is in a perfect spot, with beautiful view out to Eigg and Rum. Outdoor seating area at the hotel so will be back to take advantage of this - ideal to sit here with a drink and enjoy looking at this amazing view in the warmer weather. I came by train, a lovely trip with great views all the way. Very relaxing and train staff were brilliant.

Just had an overnight in the Morar hotel. The food was amazing, although I was defeated by portion size. The staff couldn't do enough for us, super friendly particularly Akram and the south african guy on reception were particularly helpful. Surrounding area is beautiful and will definitely return

Had a lovely two days at the Morar Hotel with my sister. Our room was clean and the bed was a super king plenty room and comfortable . Staff very helpful and friendly . Had a lovely evening meal, breakfast was good as well . A lovely quiet hotel with lovely views . Bonus being able to get a journey on the steam train to Fort William.

Tasty and plentiful food, friendly and efficient staff, modern bathroom, only small gripe was that the mattress in my single bed was past its best. I would return very happily.

Posizione sicuramente fuori mano ma comoda per il porto di Mallaig. L’hotel è datato, le camere e il bagno sono poco accoglienti. Eravamo all’ultimo piano e i muri sia della camera che del bagno presentavano numerose macchie dovute all’umidità.

A comfortable hotel but too expensive for what is offered. The Asian food was mediocre at best. The back veranda is nice.

This hotel has miserably small rooms and the price they ask for those rooms are bizzare. The services are underwhelming and only escape for this property is its location. Please avoid in all circumstances.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Room was small and a little tired, but the sea-view is amazing! The food was delicious and nice presentation. It’s conveniently located right across the street from the train station.

The hotel is older with great views on the back patio. Clean and presentable. Located opposite to the train station. It seemed expensive at $285 a night for a family room not including meals.

We were at The Morar Hotel for an overnight stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The room was comfortable and offer an amazing view of the bay, quite unlike anything I've ever seen. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was excellent, and the breakfast buffet was also very lovely. The staff at the reception, bar and restaurant were all fantastic and made us feel welcome and taken care of. Just an overall excellent stay, as we enjoyed the surroundings of this gorgious little village and appreciated the suggestions from staff about where to go for our short walks and connections to the ferry for our onwards journey.

La estancia fue correcta, aunque las habitaciones necesitan un lavado de cara a mi parecer. El punto positivo de este lugar es la ubicación ya que al dejar el ferry de las isla de skye lo tienes muy cerca en coche. Los platos que ofrecen son algo caros. nos atendió una chica que era bastante amable y en todo momento nos preguntaba si estábamos cómodos y satisfechos con el servicio. el hotel es normal y no esperes muchos lujos.

We staid during the summer so the price was very high. But the staff was super friendly, by far the nicest we encountered during our 2 week vacation in scotland. We had a seaview room that had an absolutely stunning view. The room felt a bit old, but we could see that it some of the furniture ad been replaced recently so my guess is that the hotel is slowly renovated. The rest of the building is super oldschool but in a good way, very authentic without feeling creepy or old. I really enjoyed this place there are fewer and fewer traditional hotels like this. Thanks a lot for the great experience.
